Position and Orientation
RED OCTOBER
Today you are going to draw a map of the Norwegian Ravine in the Atlantic Ocean from
the instructions that I am about to give you (Copymaster 1). The important thing here is
that you should end up at the right place and not hit the sides of the Ravine.
So I will give you co-ordinates and bearings so that you can construct a map of the Ravine.

What did you do well, what are your next steps (related to position and orientation)?
I think I did my co-ordinates and directions correctly, by making them clear and showing what to
do easily.
My next steps will probably be to learn more about how to use a protractor, because in my

Maths Week
This is a representation of the town of Kaiapoi. I made this along with Jack S, Nico W and many more.
My part of making kaiapoi was to make Blackwells.
I was asked to make a tesalation out of plastic blocks, here is what I made.
We got asked to make chalk drawings on the concrete. I made many different shapes along with a very very very very long line going around the whole reserve, with Jack S, Seth L and Max D.
